As a multi-faith and extremely diverse culture, one of the dominant styles of fashion in Africa is modest fashion. We are pleased to host one of the most formidable modest fashion brands in South Africa and share their style story.
The Infiniti Collection’s fashion start-up journey began after a short educational sabbatical in Cairo, Egypt in 2007, when Nasheetah Joseph Kamish returned to South Africa with a zest and passion to design and manufacture a clothing range suitable for modest wear. Inspired by the availability of modest wear in Cairo and the limited options thereof in South Africa, The Infiniti Collection was established in late 2008.
Founder & Head Designer, Nasheetah, hails from a long lineage of fashion and design, spanning across 4 generations of creative women, where dressmaking, beading and clothing manufacture are just a hint of their collective abilities.
Nasheetah, a graduate of the Haute Couture School of Fashion Design, is inspired and fueled by fabrics and textures, along with her passion to create new designs that dresses women simply, yet modestly using only the very best quality fabrics. With a constant pulse on trends locally and internationally, The Infiniti Collection, reflects a design sensibility where the garments created can be worn from one season to another creating an infinite wardrobe for its clientele, hence the name of her label…. The Infiniti Collection.
The designer strives to use textures, designs and fabrics that compliments a women’s physique, provides comfort, yet dresses her elegantly and smartly without comprising on her modesty.
Her design mantra…‘dressing women simply’ is… just that, simple, elegant and timeless fashion, that reflects in every collection she creates.
The Infiniti Collection is available at the Homemade #SpringintoSummer20 Pop-up Boutique in Canal Walk, Cape Town as well as Workshop Modesty a co-retail space in Claremont, Cape Town.
