Growing from humble beginnings 4 years ago from the boot of her car, entrepreneur Sphelele Chikowa, has managed to grow her business to a thriving national brand. Inspired by beautifully hand assembled African bead-work and accessories, she supplies clients from her store in Orlando West as well as via post-mail.

Founder and Creative Director, Ouma Tema, says when life in fashion gave her lemons she decided to make lemonade after a struggle to find fabulous fashion in her size.
She now supplies from her studio in Phalaborwa, Pretoria as well as The Space, a national retail store situated in all major malls for local designers.

Keke Beads

Kekebeads was started in 2006 in Soweto by Keke Motloung after spending two years under Ntsiki Mazwai’s mentorship. The collection specialises in hand made women’s accessories. The brand is for the woman who exudes confidence, knows her style, not too shy but wants to stand out from the rest. Bright bold colours are used to illustrate the vibrant, colourful and diversity of Mzansi.
